Portugal finishes kickboxing Europeans with a gold, a silver and five bronzes

European Kickboxing Championship took place in Antalya, Turkey.
This Friday, Portugal ended the European kickboxing championship, in Antalya, Turkey, with seven medals, namely one gold, by André Santos, in low kick -67 kg, one silver and five bronze.
Against the Italian Alessandro Caputo, André Santos was always superior and prevailed by 3-0, in a tournament in which he led the four previous opponents by the same maximum difference.
His brother Tiago took silver in the K1 -67 kg final, losing 2-1 to the Frenchman Alexis Sautron, who benefited from the fact that, on his way to the final, he played one less match.
Victor Nogueira, Pedro Castro, Ricardo Hilário, Hugo Estrela and Catarina Dias won bronze in their respective categories.
Catarina Dias and Pedro Sauzelo, both in full contact, -70 and -75 kg, respectively, guaranteed qualification for the European Games in Kraków, in 2023.
