Russia entered the TOP-10 of the GovTech Maturity Index 2022 due to the digitalization of public services
On November 16, the World Bank published the GovTech Maturity Index (GTMI), an international rating of digitalization of permits and public services, in which Russia took 10th place. In total, 198 countries with a high level of information technology development took part in the study.
maturity GovTech (GTMI) measures indicators in four direction indices: “Key indicators of system accessibility” (17 indicators), “Public service delivery” (9 indicators), “Digital citizen interaction” (6 indicators) and “Institutional support”, scope of implementation, IT in the field of public services, as well as programs to develop new digital transformation projects (16 indicators).
The Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Digital Development tested a large-scale analysis of the digitalization of the country’s public sector, studied various software products, EDI systems, EMIAS, SMEV, “digital taxes”, as well as the public services portal popular with the population. The results of the analytical work were sent to the World Bank. In the end, the Russian Federation entered the TOP-10 of the list with the included A rating, having improved its performance compared to 2020 – then Russia appeared in the list of countries with a B rating.
In addition, the Software Product is actively engaged in the digitalization of federal and representative bodies, among which there are solutions for the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Labor, the Main Archive, FIPS, the Government of Moscow, the Governments of the Magadan, Oryol Region and others.
