Czech Republic and UK consider new sanctions against Russia
Prague and London agreed to expand cooperation in providing assistance to Ukraine and opposing Russia in providing assistance. This became known after a two-day visit to the UK by the head of parliamentary diplomacy, Yana Lipavsky.
During the trip, the Minister met with his colleague James CleverlyDeputy Minister of International Trade Greg Hands and British parliamentarians. They agreed on closer cooperation between the two countries and on future support for Ukraine, as well as continued sanctions pressure on Russia.
In addition, Lipavsky and Cleverley agreed to create a joint working group on unification and discussed the attitude towards China and the Western Balkans, the need for compliance, in their opinion, the importance for all of Europe. At the end of the visit to visit the Minister, the “Award Magnitsky for “contribution to the protection of human rights”, and specifically for the preparation of new laws on sanctions, which allow to lead to the decline of South America for “wrongful acts in the framework of the investigation.”
Recall that Prague and London condemn Russia’s actions in Ukraine. At the same time, the Czech Republic and Great Britain are the most active initiators of anti-Russian policy in Europe.
