Debrecen – The mission of the Kiss Kata Band, founded in 2009, is to promote the importance of Hungarian unity in the Carpathian Basin.
On Friday, they commemorated the 1956 revolution and freedom struggle with Hungarian folk music combined with elements of light music.
For the emotional, linguistic and cultural strengthening of Hungarian national identity, folk songs were sung in the afternoon in the Forum Debrecen shopping center. The mission of the Kiss Kata Band, founded in 2009, is to promote the importance of Hungarian unity in the Carpathian Basin.
The free concert organized by DEMKI paid tribute to the heroes of the revolutionary events of 1956.
– I usually preach that not only on the occasion of our national holidays, but also in everyday life, we should think about how good it is for Hungarians. The band’s mission is basically to strengthen the sense of Hungarian identity in the young generation – said singer Kata Kiss.
