For the first time, Zbrojovka did not score in an away game, they lost in Jablonec
Jablonec won the third match in a row and moved to eighth place in the table, Zbrojovka is sixth. “I’m glad that we confirmed the victory in Slovakia, we were able to build on that match with results and a bit of performance,” Jablonec coach David Horejš rejoiced.
Lišeň fell with Karvina after mistakes, but continues to lead the table. It was handled by an insensitive judge
In the beginning, Montenegrin midfielder Vladimir Jovovič, who was also the leader of the goal team, confused the visitors’ defenders twice with his curls. Referee Jan Všetečka left Alli’s plus on his debut in the top competition after a foul by Wale Musa, and Jablonečtí quickly carried the game over the entire pitch.
Jovovič ended a quick break with a center, goalkeeper Martin Berkovec just kicked the ball away and Jan Chramosta hit an open goal in the seventeenth minute. “I will have criticisms towards the defense, towards the front it was good again. We started well, but the end of the half was already passive. We had the pitch spread out and Brno had a chance. We reacted with substitutions, Václav Sejk started it, David Heidenreich had to go down due to health problems,” explained Horejš.
The visitors were not very dangerous in the first half, but they equalized in the 59th minute. After Michal Ševčík’s attempt, the ball bounced to Jakub Řezníček and Zbrojovka’s most experienced player did not hesitate. For the thirty-four-year-old striker, it was the fifth goal in this first league.
But the joy of the equalizer lasted only two minutes for the people of Brno, before Jovović headed into the net after a precise cross from Dion Cools. “We managed to equalize Brno, but I appreciate how we were able to react. We started to play and immediately made it 2:1 and controlled the game. The goal didn’t defeat us, it rather kicked us,” praised Horejš.
Chramosta then skilfully got rid of two defenders in the 67th minute and increased the score to 3:1. In the league year, he improved to six goals.
Super talent Ševčík: I have to prove that I have the right to wear such a business card
He was even close to a hat-trick after Brno’s unsuccessful play-off, but he missed the goal and limped off the pitch. Substitute Tomáš Malínský then tried to lob from a distance, although he did not succeed, but the North Bohemians secured the victory without any problems.
Jablonečtí won the fourth of their last five league matches against each other. “They weren’t productive, but they had a decent attack setup, they created a lot of situations, and we had to be the territory under pressure. That’s where the matches are decided,” said Dostálek.
