Why do we ride bikes? We can once again participate in a green film screening in Debrecen
Debrecen – Cinemagoers are waiting for an interesting discussion at the free event.
We attended the screening of the Zöld Mozi film club on Tuesday, October 4, in the Mihály Kertész room of the Apollo Cinema from 5 p.m. The next film is “Why do we ride bikes?” c. documentary film. The film is in English with Hungarian subtitles. Length 60 minutes.
What is your cycling story? Is urban cycling an important part of your everyday life? Maybe you don’t understand why people prefer to travel by bicycle instead of the comfortable car? What about bulk shopping? A car is essential there, isn’t it? Not necessarily! Find out with us why the Dutch cycle and why we cycle, and share your thoughts! says the invitation At a Facebook event.
After the screening, the organizers are preparing for an informal discussion, in the framework of which they will say a few words about bicycle transport solutions, difficulties, advantages and various good practices.
Those interested can also get an answer to the big question of what a cargo bike is for. In the context of the interactive discussion, I would like to find out what the viewers’ main motivation is for cycling, what their daily experiences are, how they live the main question, the topic of the discussion is given by the title of the film, i.e. “Why do we cycle?”
The interlocutors are the managing director of Mastiff Cargo Bike, who arrives on stage with a cargo bike, as well as Katalin Nagy, Krisztián Ferenc Fülöp, eco-managers of Debrecen, enthusiastic cyclists, and Tamás Varjú, the managing director of the Mastiff Cargo Bike cargo bike manufacturing company. The conversation is coordinated by Ferenc Váradi, radio host and member of the Green Working Group, who also travels to the radio on a daily basis by bicycle.
