Research ideas are supported at the University of Debrecen
Debrecen – HUF 12 million support can be obtained for the implementation of innovative research projects by university researchers using the Innovation Fund of the University of Debrecen. The application lasts until October 10.
It promotes the further development of researchers’ ideas and research results UD-IMPACT program, which supports the participants who can move to a higher level in the field of product or service development by facilitating the utilization of new results. With the support of the university, it is possible to ensure the identification of new, unexploited research topics from an innovation point of view and the management of the market utilization of inventions.
Until October 10, you can apply for two sub-programs – Discovery and Proof of Concept – and you can win a HUF 12 million subsidy to speed up the market utilization of innovative ideas, which was announced by DEINA.
Discovery sub supports projects whose goal is to establish and explore the innovation potential of research results. Projects must have a clear goal of the product, service or process to be developed during the release phase. Discovery supports the transition between basic and applied research in order to recognize the utilization opportunities inherent in scientific results. Ideally, the results achieved in the Discovery subprogram are suitable for continuation in the Proof of Concept subprogram.

The Proof Concept subprogram supports researchers and research groups whose goal is to use the results of their research to develop new research procedures with a useful partner in cooperation or by founding a spin-off company. The PoC program supports research aimed at reducing technological and business risks, so that the technology attracts the interest of potential licensees and external investors or becomes suitable for placement in a spin-off company.

The actual entries must be submitted by November 30, and a short application intention must be submitted by October 10, which will be followed by the consultation phase.
