POLITICS IN OWN WORDS Deputy Mayor m of Prague for Prague to himself on his Facebook on September 13 to a parked company car on the sidewalk
You may also have found photos on the Internet. Those who know me well know that this is not really my style. On the relevant day, the municipal car was driven by a driver whom I do not know, and I had no idea that he had parked somewhere like this “for a pig”. I did not get out of the car in this place, in Veletržní Street, nor did I get into it. I had a meeting at TSK, where I arrived by tram. But then I needed to quickly get to another meeting by car, and I got into the car in U Studánky Street.
It is clear that the driver committed a traffic violation while waiting for me, and we will deal with him. But most of all, he reminded us that the times when papalášas routinely parked like this must never come back.
We limited the use of company cars to the necessary minimum, we turned the Nabob parking lot in front of the municipality into a pleasant square for people. For four years, we have been explaining to all employees of the municipality that the papaláš days are over. But as you can see, some still didn’t get it.
If you see something similar in the future, let me know and I will deal with it right away. It is unacceptable.
Thank you
