In Hungary, according to AKI PÁIR data, edible wheat was traded at an average producer price of HUF 136.5 thousand per ton without VAT and transport costs in the third week of June. On the Budapest Stock Exchange (BÉT), the August and September quotes for euro wheat will drop by HUF 4,000 to HUF 140,000 and HUF 140.5, respectively, between June 13 and 24. The September settlement price of ISCC NUTS II sustainable fodder wheat was 139.5 thousand HUF/ton (-4000 HUF) at the same time. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME/CBOT), the July quotation for wheat was between 339 and 396 dollars/ton on the observed exchange days. At the same time, the September quotation of the crop on the Paris commodity exchange (Euronext/MATIF) dropped to 357 euros/ton.

Maize

According to the USDA’s June projection, the world could be 1,186 million tons in 2022/2023. annual corn crop. In Hungary, according to AKI PÁIR data, fodder corn changed hands at an average producer price of HUF 111.4 thousand/ton in the third week of May.
