Xiaoxin Yang adorns herself with gold under the eyes of Prince Albert II
The Monegasque table tennis player won the gold medal this Thursday evening in Oran. This is the first medal for the Monegasque delegation in these Mediterranean Games. Prince Albert II was present as close as possible to the Monegasque athletes.
She did it. Four years after his loss in the final and a bitter silver medal in Tarragona (Spain), Xiaoxin Yang assumed his favorite status in Oran (Algeria) to win the gold medal and offer Monaco its very first medal.

The execution of a magnificent tournament for the Monegasque table tennis player, who this Thursday first won easily against the Turkish Altinkaya (11-5, 11-3, 11-9,11-7), before a second clear victory against the Spaniard Xiao Yao (11-5, 11-7, 11-6, 11-7).
In the final, Xiaoxin Yang found the Portuguese Shao for another victory in four sets. Enough to remember the Monegasque anthem.
With the encouragement of Prince Albert II
