For the first time the holiday took place in 1968, the “Scarlet Sails” graduation ceremony received its “new life” in 2005. On the night of June 24-25, 2022, the celebration was held under the motto of eternal rights – freedom, friendship, love, time, work.

The pyrotechnic show in the waters of the Neva became a highlight of the graduation festival. The culmination of the holiday is the exit from the span of the Palace Bridge of the sailing ship “Russia” with scarlet sails.
