Dijon. The association A tiger in the park celebrated its tenth anniversary
A tiger in the park organized its Music Festival on Saturday June 25 in the Clemenceau park in Dijon, a place dedicated to various activities and, in particular, to this annual neighborhood event. The occasion also, this year, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the association.
For the little story
“As we are based in the Clemenceau sector, the association of inhabitants of this district chose the name Le Tigre, a nickname given to Georges Clemenceau, president of the council and Minister of War during the First World War. He was decked out with a beautiful mustache and was known for his outbursts of voice in the hemicycle of the National Assembly”, confides Michel Dumont, who took over the presidency of this Dijon association at the beginning of 2014, succeeding Lionel Bard, founder.
He continues: “We added “to the park”, because most of the events we organize take place in the Parc Clemenceau, a green and friendly setting located in the center of the district. »
Note that the party had to stop definitively around 5 p.m. following the weather alert which placed the department on orange alert, forcing the parks to close their doors at that time.
