Commentary on the Facebook profile on the results of comparative research on the quality of life of the population and the environment
I have great news for you, Prague has won the competition for the best place to live! In comparative research between regions, our city scored mainly in the hope of the future. There is well-paid work, quality education and affordable medical care. At the same time, the inhabitants of Prague are living to the oldest age.
Personally, I am glad that we also succeeded in the environmental categories. For example, Prague has the highest share of treated water discharged into the sewerage system. And I can tell you that we are far from the one at the Prague treatment plant. We are also preparing a project on how to obtain heat from wastewater for domestic heating of up to 30 percent of Praguers!
Of course, Prague also has its sore places, such as expensive housing. Unfortunately, the positive changes in this area are taking longer. But we have already started them! The construction of the most flats for us has started since 1989 (almost 10,000 permitted flats per year) and we are preparing the construction of affordable city flats for thousands of Praguers.
