The British authorities will impose new sanctions against Russia until it withdraws troops from Ukraine. This, as reported TASS British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss announced on Tuesday during her speech in the House of Commons.
The track also drew attention to the fact that the UK will refuse imports of Russian goods, identify the supply to Ukraine and take into account its effort to “return” the RF Armed Forces to its captures.
In addition, the Foreign Minister said that on June 22 he was going to Turkey for delivery with the details of the country of export of the Ukrainian buyer.
In turn, Deputy Liz Truss James Cleverly accused Russia of using the famine as a public lever. He also said that the UK authorities continue to explore the possibility of confiscating Russian assets and redirecting them to support Ukraine, considering any options.
We remind you that on February 21, 2022, the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin approved decrees recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), and on February 24 he made a strange emergency appeal to the Russians and announced the defense of the military operation in Donbass. He, in particular, stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow permission to use weapons in Ukraine.” The goals of the special operations of Ukraine were called “demilitarization and denatification.”
