The Central Bohemian Road Administration was visited by the police. This may be related to the case in Prague
On Wednesday, June 15, the police officers appeared at the headquarters of the Regional Administration and Road Maintenance of the Central Bohemian Region in Říčany. It is a contributory organization of the Central Bohemian Region, which is in charge of second and third class roads, provides maintenance and repairs through contracts awarded by external companies.
Simply put: this is an office environment; not a technical services company operating spreaders, plushers or tractors with mowers and road rollers. The presence of police officers on the premises of the Road Administration was confirmed by its spokeswoman Petra Kučerová. However, she emphasized that she had no details or further information on what the police were interested in. “We provide maximum cooperation, she said only.
Connection with the municipal raid
Police officials did not appear for the first time at the road administration. They have intervened there before – the National Center against Organized Crime (NCOZ) forensic scientists have been interested in setting up processes within the organization and probably also in some of its specific contracts. The daily logically recorded speculations as to whether the current presence of the police has ties to the past – or rather is related to the current intervention of the NCOZ in several places in Prague.
In the capital, detectives appeared at the municipality on Wednesday, where they were most intensely interested in the office of Deputy Mayor Petr Hlubuček (STAN), but they also visited the headquarters of Dopravní podnik hl. m of Prague (the offices of top management as well as property administration or in-house lawyers became the subject of their interest there) and Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna.
Big raid: Hřib called on Hlubučka to resign, the square is said to be facing charges
Gradually, it seems that it will be more likely “for B”: a mutual connection with the current events in Prague. This is to be a case concerning, in particular, the suspicious management of a Prague transport company, in which, according to available information, there are a total of 11 people.
In addition to Hlubučka, who is also the mayor of the Prague-Lysolaje district, he reappears in the media in connection with this case on behalf of the businessman Michal Redl. This connection was also reported before noon by the Seznam Zprávy server, which used to be well informed about police investigations connected with the Central Bohemian governor’s office and its organizations in the past.
The region confirms cooperation with the police
The Regional Office of the Central Bohemian Region, which represents the founders of the Central Bohemian Road Administration, did not comment on the current situation. Zuzana Žídková from the press department of the office of President Deník only confirmed that the regional authorities are cooperating with the police. “The region provides maximum cooperation,” she said.
Her colleague Josef Holek also mentioned “omnipotent cooperation”. He noted that he could not say more: “The public prosecutor’s office reserved the communication.” But she did not specify any names.
In the afternoon, the regional office is available on twitter – however, still only in general terms. “Official information on police intervention in the regional administration and road maintenance is currently available, but we believe that law enforcement authorities will investigate that they will investigate suspicions thoroughly,” he said – again adding that the region would provide all cooperation.
