Leslie Mandoki organizes tourist trips – Budapest in Bunté
It is a prize draw, and it is primarily a musician who left Hungary in 1976, László Mándoki, or, as the advertising game is presented, Leslie Mandoki, who is in his hometown during a weekend.
The clever idea will undoubtedly benefit everyone: it will promote Hungary as a destination on a whole page – it will increase the country’s image. All this is due to the fact that the 17 subscribers of the paper will receive a weekend in the Hungarian capital as part of a prize draw. 17, because so many German cities will perform in a concert tour in November Mándoki – the exact place to buy tickets is also mentioned in the article. So it also promotes Bunt, and all weekend Mándok, whose winners will be able to attend the July 23 concert.
What is the content of the prize? Flight ticket, accommodation – at the Alice Hotel (ed .: the hotel is in the interest of the Prime Minister, István Tiborcz) – full board, quality places like Cafe Circle – as the article shows, this is one of the musician’s favorite places. The tour includes a museum visit to the National Museum and the House of Terror, a tour of the House of Music, a “small acoustic concert” at the Academy of Music with Béla Szakcsi Lakatos, a pillar member of Soulmates, Mándoki’s band.
In such a case, a tourism professional wonders whether Mándoki has a marketing or tour operator’s license – he strictly takes this in Germany – or a travel agency behind him, but he is not named, and whether it is Hungarian or German.

I called the Academy of Music because their program is not included in their July program. At the event management department, they didn’t know about the event at first, and then they did.
I received the following answer:
„2022. There will be no public Leslie Mándoki concert at the Academy of Music on July 23, the artist will give a short, private concert as part of a tourist trip, and the newspaper article you sent will also announce the way. We are therefore unable to provide further details on the concert. ”
When I asked if 17 people would rent a room in Mándoki, because the concert would not take place in the lobby, I didn’t get an exact answer or enough to call Bunt…
