Chancellor Mynář took 2.6 million last year
According to the server, Senate Chancellor Jana Vohralíková earned 2.1 million gross last year. The unnamed person, who held “leading position No. 1” in the government office, earned 1.7 million gross last year.
Last year, the salary of other civil servants was published by the server Platyúředníků.cz. The State Guard announced this in a press release on Monday.
Over 230 entities provided salaries and rewards for last year. They have sent data to more than 1,800 positions in the management of their offices, organizations or companies.

The president’s spokesman Jiří Ovčáček earned CZK 1.3 million gross, of which about a fifth was remuneration. According to the server, the presidential office sent complete data.
The total gross income of the director of the information service Michal Koudelka Security amounted to 1.3 million crowns. As a non-financial bonus, he had a company car at his disposal due to his immediate reach.
The chairman of the Office for the Supervision of the Management of Political Parties and Political Movements, Vojtěch Weis, received a gross amount of 1.5 million crowns last year, about 30,000 crowns more.
Na Homolce Hospital refused to disclose the proceeds
The state guard also obtained data for medical facilities, such as the Prague IKEM, the Brno Masaryk Oncology Institute, and the teaching hospitals in Pilsen, Olomouc and Brno. According to the State Guard, Prague’s Na Homolce Hospital refused to provide data for the second year in a row. According to the server, the institutions under the Ministry of Transport provided complete data, but not in 19 cases.
The state guard interviewed more than 300 subjects. He asked about salaries under the law on free access to information. Although the request sent a data box and in this way expected answers, in five cases it received a response via the Czech Post.
The state watchdog states that in democratic countries it is common to disclose the salaries and remuneration of top state officials because the citizen, as a taxpayer, must be informed of how his money must be spent by the state.
