Open documentary film festival “Russia” this year accepts applications until July 15: Culture: Oblgazeta
In Yekaterinburg, the acceptance of applications for participation in the XXXIII Open Place for Documentary Films “Russia” continues. This year the review will be held in the capital of the Urals and other cities of the Sverdlovsk region of statistics – from October 1 to October 6.
The combined commission is waiting for the documentary films of Russia and the post-Soviet space until July 15, 2022. Documentaries created in 2021-2022, but not earlier than June 1, 2021, are allowed to search in the competition.
The organizers note that annually “Russia” receives more than 500 applications. To the consideration of admitted films that were not previously submitted to the competitive festival. In addition, the pictures should not cause propaganda of violence, national, racial and receptive intolerance, violations of human sensitive feelings.
