For the purchase of antiviral drugs, including medicines for the treatment of patients and HIV, in public procurement in the first quarter of 2022, 44.9 billion rubles were spent. . It says that this is 8 times more than was purchased in the first three months of last year, and practically investigated with the purchase of anticancer drugs, the size of the population of the therapeutic group itself (50.5 billion rubles).
The top five antivirals, for which four funds were allocated, included medicines for treatment and one for HIV. For example, purchases of molnupiravir doubled in the first quarter of 2021, amounting to 9.8 billion rubles. Favipiravir was purchased 4 times (7.5 billion rubles), dolutegravir – 78 times (6.3 billion rubles), and umifenovir – 7 times (3.8 billion rubles) more than in the previous year. In total, 38.1 billion rubles were spent on the purchase of medicines for transportation with COVID-19, as it turned out during the study (in the first quarter of 2021, their volume amounted to only 5.9 billion rubles). But these may not be all shipments associated with this infection, as government customers are not required to label them accordingly.
