Pirates and Čižinský? A bag of people who do not cooperate badly, says Svoboda

The October municipal elections are approaching and the biggest duel is expected in the capital city of Prague. This time the program Napřímo visited the candidate for the TOTAL coalition Bohuslav Svoboda. In an interview with the moderator Bára Divišová, he revealed why he is a candidate in the end and also why it is difficult for him to imagine cooperation with Pirates and Jan Čižinský (Prague himself).
It is said that Bohuslav Svoboda (ODS) had to persuade the SPOLU coalition to write to the Prague candidate. “It was not primarily my will to be the leader of the coalition group. The family had to agree, after a long analysis they finally said yes,” Svoboda explained.
He also commented on the current management of Prague by Zdeněk Hřib (Pirates). “The way Hřibem runs the city is the least acceptable. Pirates and Čižinský are problematic. It’s basically a bag of people with different opinions who don’t work well together. When you look at Pirates in the House and the city, they’re two different groups.” Freedom explains.
The other candidates blame Svoboda for being a member of parliament and for the post of mayor they would not want to relinquish their other positions. “It has its advantages to speak in the Chamber of Deputies and be in the leadership of the city of Prague at the same time. The pirates and Prague do not respect it themselves. I will deal with it when I have to deal with it,” the MP said.
According to her, the biggest problems of Praguers are housing, transport and parking. “Housing will only be solved by building new flats,” said the capital’s candidate for mayor. As for the problems in transport, Svoboda mentioned that the current management of Prague probably does not know them, because otherwise, according to him, it is not possible that these problems are not solved.
In 2018, the ODS was the victorious party, yet in the end the victim was the other parties and is now in opposition. How will the ODS want to replace this year? And what will Svoboda look like in Prague? What are the main priorities of the TOTAL coalition and how does it plan to defeat others?
