Moscow. May 3rd Interfax – The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on Tuesday Russian artillery attacked more than 400 objects of the armed forces of Ukraine, liquidated almost 200 Ukrainian servicemen.
“Artillery points hit units of the 11th directorate, 54 firing positions of Ukrainian artillery units, two depots of fuel and lubricants, as well as 342 strong points, concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov.
He said that up to 190 Ukrainian soldiers and 31 pieces of equipment had been rendered harmless by Russian artillery.
On April 26, Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the national defense control center of the Russian Federation, announced that the Russian army had taken control of the entire Kherson region, parts of the Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev economy of Ukraine, especially parts of the territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR).
On February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a decree recognizing the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. On February 24, Putin announced the start of a military operation in Ukraine.
In response, many countries have introduced large-scale awards against Russia. A number of countries supply Ukraine with weapons and equipment.
