The award ceremony of the competition entitled A Plain a Reverse of the University Theater of Debrecen was held in the Podium Hall of the Csokonai Literary Laboratory.
Seventy entries were received for the competition, and texts from eleven languages were translated into Hungarian. The tender was announced for the second time.
– The stipulation was that a person who does not make a living from translating a text published earlier than thirty years ago should be translated, so he has not had a literary translation in a publication so far. There was no language restriction, said Judit Lukovszki, program coordinator.
István Puskás said at the award ceremony: drama translation is a special, less practiced field of literary translation, which is why it is important to direct young people to it.

– With this tender, Debrecen also wants to show that it lives a centuries-old tradition and wants to continue to play an active role in making Hungarian culture part of the European circulation of culture – István Puskás should be emphasized.
