Fire regime introduced in 21 colonies of Primorye – Far East |
Vladivostok. 22 April. INTERFAX – FAR EAST – A special fire regime was introduced on the territory of the 21st district of the Primorsky Territory, the district’s press service reported on Friday.
“(…) A special fire regime has been introduced on the territory of Artyomovsky, Vladivostok, Dalnerechensky, Lesozavodsky, Nakhodka, Partizansky and Ussuriysk urban districts, Lazovsky, Oktyabrsky, Pogranichny, Khankaysky, Kavalerovsky, Khasansky and Khorolsky municipal districts, Mikhailovsky, Nadezhdinsky, Olginsky, Partizansky and Shkotovsky municipal districts, urban districts of Bolshoy Kamen and ZATO Fokino,” the statement said.
Local premises were forbidden to enter the forests, make open fires, pay garbage, carry out fire hazardous work in the forests.
In addition, certain areas will be cleared of debris and combustible materials. In residential buildings that live near forests, water supplies are created to extinguish fires. It is also planned to restore fire-prevention mineralized strips.
According to the Regional Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife Protection over the past day, April 21, there were 48 forest and natural fires in the Territory with a total area of 2,800 hectares. By the morning of April 22, most of them were extinguished, but five fires continued to operate on an area of about 70 hectares, four were localized on an area of 265 hectares.
