United Russia delivered aid to humanitarian centers in Mariupol
Four United Russia assistance centers have already been opened in Mariupol. One of them is located in the former METRO shopping center. Here, evacuated residents are registered, food, water, SIM cards are distributed, and relatives are provided. In addition, there is a medical room and a children’s room. The Humanitarian Center was visited by the Secretary of the General Council of United Russia during a regular humanitarian mission in Donbas Andrey Turchak. Together with the Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin he talked to volunteers in the outskirts of the city.
“Today, another influx of humanitarian aid is off-road vehicles and generators. Recently, we have faced the fact that now from all over Russia – from the authorities, regions, ordinary people – assistance is required for Donbass. For us, this is very tangible – this is the shoulder of people close to us. We come across our units for advanced, voluntary bodies and youth organizations, volunteers involved in the liberated territories, ”said Denis Pushilin.
Andrey Turchak noted that specialists from the DPR ministry are working in the assistance center.
“They work on a permanent basis. For example, specialists of the Employment Center where they can work. The main thing is the readiness and desire to work,” he said.
