USK Praha basketball players won a record 16th title
USK has not lost any matches in the ninth place in a row and holds a series of 245 wins in the league. The last time Praguers hesitated in 2013 was with Žabiny (then IMOS Brno) in the third final. The Brno team, which has fourteen titles on the second and got into the series for the title after three years, holds the current record with 256 triumphs in a row. This milestone will be attacked by USK next time.
Captain Teja Oblaková, the captain of the old-new champions, received the award for the most useful player in the final series. The Slovenian quarterback scored 11 points and six assists in the third duel. The best scorer was Brionna Jones, who added 11 rebounds to the 24m. The second American player of the Prague team, Alyssa Thomasová, also had a double double for 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The fourth team of this year’s European League wanted to build on the previous final games 78:44 and 82:47 in front of their fans in the Královka hall. Even before the introductory dismissal, coach Hejková received a state award for services to Slovak sport.

Although the Brno team leveled the game after the break, they did not manage to press the deficit below 30 points for a long time. Jones and Thomas already had a double double before the final fourth. Although coach Hejková gave space to the young players from the benches in the end, USK no longer allowed the drama and ended the last series with a victory by 23 points.
