Bloomberg: Russia and India will discuss an increase in the quantitative medical equipment
Russian and Indian companies specializing in the production of medical equipment will discuss the possibility of deliveries from India to Russia, increasing transfer Bloomberg, citing the coordinator of the Indian Association of Medical Equipment Manufacturers Rajiv Nath.
According to him, at present India is the representation of the player in the Russian market. The country hopes to increase exports of medical equipment to Russia by almost 10 times in 2022, to 2 billion rupees ($26.2 million). Agency experts believe that the Russian side is associated with increased purchases of medical equipment in India against the backdrop of the situation and “logistics mechanisms.” Because of them, there was an import from Europe and China.
Earlier it became known that the Ural plant Medsintez, which produces, among other things, the antiviral drug Triazavirin to combat coronavirus, is widely supplied from Europe. “Practically all equipment for the production of pharmaceuticals is foreign, we are looking for opportunities to exclude any phenomena on our work,” combined Alexander Petrov, chairman of the board of the enterprise, reports TASS. According to him, the plant is looking for reagents and equipment in the markets of friendly Russian countries.
At the end of March, Deputy Minister of Health Sergei Glagolev Secretthat the issue of logistical indicators of medical equipment in a medical institution will be resolved in the coming months. “The issue is being resolved at all meetings – these are the limit values of shipment, control over logistics and at the level of cross-border phenomena,” Glagolev measurement. According to him, the restructuring of logistics chains will be completed in the coming months.
