Rotterdam police send back buses with Ajax supporters, 22 arrests around duel
The Rotterdam police met two buses and sent a total of about 100 Ajax supporters back to Amsterdam. The two buses were on their way to the cup final between PSV and Ajax in De Kuip. Together with two other buses, they were stopped by agents at a gas station on the A15 near Rotterdam.
The police found that the supporters in the four buses had not been searched when boarding in Amsterdam. The group uses a combination arrangement, which includes the bus trip and a ticket for the match.
Normally, the supporters are already searched on departure, but that had not happened in this case. “We knew that some of those people had deliberately not had themselves searched,” said a police spokesperson.

In the two buses have been returned to the police according to the said drugs. The two buses are escorted by the Amsterdam police to the capital. It is not yet known whether any charges will be made against them.
The two buses met supporters who were searched and found nothing and continued on their way. “However, they had to miss part of the game,” said the police spokesman.

The cup final between PSV and Ajax was won 2-1 by PSV. The police have eleven people near the stadium before the match, about half of whom were Ajax supporters and half PSV supporters. They had, among other things, heavy fireworks with them or were arrested for drug possession. According to the police spokesman, most of them will be released during the day tonight this morning.
The police took action in the stadium when PSV scored the 2-1 shortly after, a number of Ajax supporters managed to break through the fence of a supporters section. “They ended up in a family profession where they didn’t belong,” said the said. Two PSV supporters were injured. Also edited an agent. The supporters were not arrested, but five of them have broken the rules of the stadium and risk a stadium ban.
