The goal was to find out from the rise in energy prices that Hungarian families and small businesses, he said.
He stressed that rumors that the government did not want or could not maintain the petrol station and that the country’s fuel supply would be in jeopardy were untrue.
Mol is able to cover the entire fuel consumption of Hungary, to operate without the refinery outage, Hungary’s oil supply is uninterrupted – added Mol’s President and CEO.
Zsolt Hernádi said that abusive use must be eliminated.
Recently, the turnover of filling stations has increased dramatically, partly due to the price cap, partly due to “abusive” consumers, and partly due to its transfer to former wholesale petrol stations. On an average day, it is reported that five million liters of fuel are sold at filling stations, which has almost tripled to 15 million in the last day.
He emphasized that at the full capacity of the Százhalombatta refinery, Mol has sufficient stocks.
