Russia in relations with the United States and the West has come to the line, after which the “point of no return” begins. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, speaker RIA News”.
She explained that Moscow, in its relations with Western states, proceeds from possible interests, including in the field of security, and destroys in a way that is beneficial to the country and its citizens.
“We proposed to do this together, we had a dialogue and proposed a lot within the framework of collective security,” Zakharova said.
After the dialogue did not happen, she added, Russia moved on to the next stage – the resonance of security guarantees with Western countries, “teaching that they do not return to collective creativity.”
“When they became blocked and discovered, we proceeded from our vital interests. <...> This is not our choice. We always started from the same dialogue, but when these options were closed, we began to act differently. Not because of the threat, but the question is that we come to the line, after which the point of no return has already begun, ”said the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Former White House Spokesperson Jen Psaki announcedRussian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and a representative of the US Security Council. As a result, restrictive measures are taken following similar decisions.
