Debrecen – The building, now owned by Mathias Corvinus Collegium, is undergoing a major transformation.
Last May, it was announced that the then 25-year-old Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC), a talent nurse, had bought the Hotel Golden Bull, and the building has since been set up in their training center.
Balázs Orbán, Parliamentary and Strategic State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, said at the time that he wanted to completely renovate the building from his own resources in several stages.
He added
to start operating in the Art Nouveau wing and to begin renovating the socialist wing. Once completed, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium will move in, after which the renovation of the Art Nouveau wing can begin. After this, they will be able to receive hotel guests there. They would contract with an operating company for this.
Debretinum Talentum Ingatlanfejlesztő Kft., A company of Mathias Corvinus Collegium, has now issued a public procurement for the renovation of the Golden Bull. According to a call published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the planned investment 11-15. s. The property is located below the construction of an educational center in accordance with the principles and training ideas of the MCC, as well as the renovation of the Aranybika Hotel, which has a long history.
The facility (complex of buildings) to be planned must be designed by rethinking the features, built-in and layout of the property.
It includes:
– transformation of the existing buildings, modern design suitable for the planned utilization, while preserving the historical values
– demolition of obsolete buildings / parts of buildings, design of new, modern buildings and parts of buildings in place, so that the future building must fit into the historical environment of downtown Debrecen
Planning activities and paces are defined as follows:
Task 1 / Phase: Designing the whole building complex and its environment concept
Task 2 / Phase: planning the operating conditions of a hotel hotel and theater building
Task 3 / phase: planning the demolition of the obsolete non-listed protected part of the building at home, designing a new wing of the building in its place, reconstruction of the current-remaining hotel building, planning of the landscaping. In the new wing, the talent care (education) and student accommodation function, the associated service rooms, as well as the car parks required for the intended use (with the provision of underground garages and surface car parks) should be designed in the new wing. With the reconstruction of the protected part of the building, the building of the four-star superior category hotel with at least 80 rooms must be designed so that the frequented ground floor of the building can accommodate for-profit activities (for example, a café). the construction of the new wing of the building and the reconstruction of the listed wing of the building should be used for later use separately.
Task 4 / Phase: Design supervision
Task 5 / phase: compilation of the complete permitting and construction planning documentation for the comprehensive reconstruction and landscaping works of the plots on the plot towards Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca and on Hatvan utca, preparation of a priced and priced budget announcement depending on the customer’s needs. (optional orderable activity)
Task 6 / Pace: related to the tasks / paces according to points 1 and 3 above: BREEAM or LEED building qualification
It can be concluded from this that the socialist wing will be partially or completely demolished and replaced by a new, modern part of the building, with the proviso that the future building and part of the building must fit into the historical environment of downtown Debrecen.
It will be the responsibility of the planner to obtain all the utilities, authorities, authorities and settlements required for the implementation, notifications, permits, approvals, or these are not required, then a statement to this effect.
Companies can apply for the call until March 2, and the winner will have more than eight months to complete the plans. With such significant design work, interested companies can be expected to ask questions to the tenderer and then have to answer them, so they are expected to change the check-out deadline, or even extend it several times.
