According to published information, when crossing the border, foreign travelers must have a tourist visa, as well as a document confirming the receipt of a negative PCR test for COVID-19, made no earlier than 48 hours before entering. In addition, vacationers must fill out a questionnaire in advance.
At the same time, Doguzova noted that when entering Russia, tourists are not required to be responsible for an electronic vaccination certificate issued through the public services portal. “However, in every large Russia, there are additional rules for restricting accommodation in hotels or visiting enterprises, mass events, and establishments selling documents with a QR code,” the memo reads.
