Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko in an interview with Parliamentary Newspaper announcedthat Russia is ready to discuss proposals for security guarantees.
Russia’s security guarantee initiatives are not an ultimatum, she said, as they want unilateral gains. “We are not asking for anything impossible. We are ready to discuss threat proposals and look for mutually acceptable solutions. And we will continue and build up the dialogue on security guarantees,” she said.
