The presentation of the CECIM figures made last Wednesday at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon was not likely to make promoters in the Lyon region optimistic… With a number of reservations still at their lowest in 2021 after a reduced 2020 of almost a quarter with the confinement, and the absence of a rebound in sales last year, the representative of the Metropolis of Lyon, in this case its vice-president in charge of housing, Renaud Payre, has had to fight to defend the politics of the community, and try to instill a grain of optimism in the face of an audience plunged in doubt. Without visible success.
Because clearly, the situation on the front of the sales of new housing in the collective within the Metropolis of Lyon remains singular from a regional point of view. During the presentations of the balance sheets of the region’s two balancing metropolises, namely Grenoble-Alpes Metropolis and Clermont Auvergne Metropolis, we were certainly worried, as everywhere in France, about the insufficient renewal of new supply.
