Debrecen – Pieces by Beethoven, Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov will be performed at the Kölchsey Center in the weeks ahead.
Organized by the Kodály Philharmonic and the Philharmonic Hungary, two excellent classical music guest performances can be seen in the Great Hall of the Kölcsey Center in February. On February 17, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major and Tchaikovsky’s VI Symphony, conducted by András Keller, will be performed at the Concerto Budapest concert. The soloist of the evening is violinist and violinist Katalin Kokas, one of the most outstanding personalities of Hungarian music life.

On February 24, the soloist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert will be Arabella Steinbacher (pictured), who plays the Stradivarius provided by the Nippon Music Foundation. Conductor is the long-established Dmitry Liss, who has played with the most prominent Russian artists; one of the most authentic interpreters in the national repertoire of his country. On the show Prokofiev: Lieutenant Suite Kizhe and II. (G minor) Violin Competition, Rimsky-Korsakov: Seherezade.
