The Federation Council called Ukraine toxic to Russia and Turkey Russian news EN
Ukraine is politically toxic for Russia, Turkey and other countries of the Azov-Black Sea region without Kiev discovering the Minsk reserves. So called it a member of the Federation Council from the Crimea Olga Kovitidi, writes News.ru.
According to her, Ukraine’s position is incomprehensible. The senator wondered how she could offer herself as a peacekeeper if Kiev continues to buy Bayraktar UAVs from Turkey, which is not regulated by the settlement of the situation between Ukraine and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR).
At the same time, Kovitidi noted that Turkey has enough of its own problems. “A number of Turkish experts say that the Turkish economy is sick with cancer, and the internal political situation in the state is not easy. The difficulty is also in terms of foreign policy: Kurds, there are no diplomatic relations with Armenia, despite foreign policy,” the senator said.
Remember that Russia is not an observer of the armed conflict that will take place in 2014 against the backdrop of a coup in Ukraine. In turn, Ankara should not “write off” the recognized players, the executions of Kovitidi.
On January 19, Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said that the head of state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, invites to Russia and Ukraine to discuss issues related to meetings between countries of contradictions. The Kremlin clarified that the proposal of the Turkish side has not yet been officially discussed, but Moscow welcomed any measures aimed at regulating the situation around Ukraine.
