The town hall of Toulouse has unveiled the list of the most given first names in 2021. The civil status services recorded 13,099 births last year in Toulouse. That is 52 births more than in 2020. It would seem that the inhabitants of the Pink City still appreciate the duos Louise and Jade, for girls, Gabriel and Léo, for boys, among the most given first names in 2020. But the ‘Last year in Toulouse, it was Louise and Louis who were at the top of the rankings.

Among the boys, Louis tops the rankings after only being in fifth place last year. Louis therefore dethrones the first name Gabriel, which comes in second place. Leo, who was the most given first name in France in 2020, comes in third place on the podium. As for the last of the winners, it is once again Hugo who occupies it.

Louise for the third year for girls

Among girls, the constant seems to be de rigueur. Louise is for the third consecutive year the first name most given by the inhabitants of Toulouse to their daughter. Jade steps back from the figures for the year 2020 and leaves second place on the podium to Alice. This year Emma, ​​a former favorite of Toulouse, finds herself in the penultimate place of the winners and it is Camille, a first name absent until then, who is making her comeback.
