For 11 months of 2021, the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) issued 11 million orders to restrict the right to travel outside Russia. There were three million, or 37.5 percent more debtors restricted to travel abroad than a year earlier. On Monday, January 17, they write “News” with reference to the agency.
In just 11 months of 2021, the service initiated 64 million enforcement proceedings and seized more than 800 billion rubles, of which 125 million were collected by restricting the right to travel outside Russia.
Limit the amount of travel abroad if the amount of a citizen’s debt exceeds 30 thousand rubles, as well as more than 10 thousand rubles for alimony. More than 966 thousand orders to restrict the right to travel abroad in 2021 were issued specifically for unpaid alimony, noted in the department.

According to the expert, the improvement of payment discipline is associated primarily with diseases of the nervous system: many have realized that debt forgiveness has not become a reason and the bankruptcy procedure is not so simple and comfortable. Therefore, observations began to review the financial resources of family users.
In December, the State Duma decided not to leave because a Canadian citizen paid it right at the airport before departure. The debt recovery process will be applied automatically using the Digital Enforcement Proceedings service. Passenger data appears in the databases of various departments within a few minutes. ATOR noted that this would greatly simplify debtors’ travel abroad.
