Due to the fact that at the same time there was a disease of a large part of the population, including passengers, and a reduction in the demand for travel, a large amount to reduce connections. The company has 80 percent vaccinated employees, so management does not expect a dramatic impact on the provision of its services and believes that it will not be necessary to use the crisis scenario, said the spokeswoman for the transport company Hana Tomaštíková.
So far, the company with 2,600 employees has purchased 3,500 tests and needs another 15,000 next week. From Monday, all employees are required to test on Mondays and Thursdays for three weeks, so that the epidemic spreads positively if possible at a slower rate and at a slower pace at home. Employees will be tested directly at the workplace. “We will record the results electronically in a special application so that we have an overview for ourselves and for our inspection of hygienists about compliance with the frequency of testing,” said Tomaštíková.
The omicron variant now makes up the vast majority of new diseases in the country. So far, the number of patients with covid has been declining slightly in hospitals. The government is now preparing for a situation where, according to some models, about 50,000 people can get sick every day.
