10 sports to do in Lyon to challenge yourself in 2022
Hello little kittens! Are you ready for a workout? A boost session to cleanse yourself? Rest assured, at CityCrunch, we did not turn into a sports coach but loyal finders of good ideas to put in your path. This week, I have prepared a small selection of sports for you to try. In this period of resolutions and the beginning of the year, some take it into their heads to put on – or put on sneakers – to do themselves good.
To help you, here are 10 sports that could change your daily life. Whether you are more feet on the ground or in the water, in intensity or moderation mode, this selection covers the universes so that everyone can find shoes to their feet, I hope. The training circuit
Kesako ? Very fashionable for several years now, circuit training has become completely democratized and is practiced in all sauces. The principle ? Chain different exercises (cardio, muscu) on a given duration / number of repetitions with little recovery time in between. Then start over. A little hot, the chestnuts, you will tell me, but a real way of challenge oneself and to work the whole body. We sweat, we struggle but it feels really good. And no pressure, each at his level ! Squash
Attention, let off steam in perspective! Personally, it is one of the most intense sports that I was able to practice. At first glance, hitting a ball which is more in a wall, nothing crazy. But since the ball does not bounce, it will have to give a little speed for the exchange to have some punch! Playing two, or even 4 (and alone it’s possible but less fun), squash is also strategic as an outlet (yeah yeah at that point) giving rise to delicious playing moments ! To try once in a lifetime!

Hiit yoga
Total hybridization, Good or bad idea ? For those who find yoga too “soft” (the work is no less physical!) But who love the mind, voice enough to satisfy you. Concept that is gaining more and more momentum, hiit yoga mixes yoga poses in dynamics and intense repetitions in the tabata way (the friend of the circuit training presented just above). As much to say to you that it moves and that you will not have time to fall asleep on your position of the warrior, I guarantee it! For the curious!

Boxing
No debate English, French, free fight and co. No here, I’m talking to you about individual boxing or the work of typing in a bag, in bear paws (the name is so cute) in short, not quite the but to fight (to begin with). Why ? Because effort and concentration are placed in another place with the precision of the gesture, the placement of the body, the intensity. Obviously, if you want to step into the ring, you are free to do it, but you can completely start “quiet”. Ideal after a “spat” day, tested and approved !

Skateboarding

With the more and more use of alternative means of transport – it’s not just cycling in life – skateboards are reclaiming sidewalks but also skateparks. Whether you are in “cruise” mode on longboard or practicality with the small boards that you can see everywhere, you will have the choice. For young and old, skateboarding is once again fashionable ! Don’t forget the helmet and wrist guards!

Pole dance
” It’s everywhere “, “it’s a stripper thing“,”it’s for girls“et Cie. I’ll stop you right now. Yes pole dance stayed in the night club for a very long time to going out for 20 years now and become an artistic and sporting discipline in its own right. You will evolve on / around a bar with more or less intense acrobatic figures depending on your level. The effort is real just like the room for improvement. Halfway between gym and circus apparatus, pole dance is for all ! And for the outfit? No debate because it is just essential for the hooks in particular. Punto Finale.

Aikido
Straight from Japan, here is the so-called “pacifist” martial art. Created at the beginning of the 20th century, aikido is bordering on sport and D’a real philosophy of life. On the tatami, everyone is in the same boat. Only experience will differentiate a partner from one. Aikido is declined in movements of rotations, spirals, placements, immobilizations in a single corn: bring down his opponent’s son. Unlike judo for example, aikido teaches you to get up immediately to face other opponents. Concentration, control and speed, if you need to channel yourself, aikido is maybe your future best friend.

Fitness walking
Fast, active, in short, it’s pretty clear. Fitness walking has nothing to do with a leisurely stroll. Testing your endurance, your breath and literally working the whole body at the same time, this sport is a good compromise for teenagers of the race but who still want a cardio discipline easy to practice. Because, frankly, you do not need specific equipment (apart from sneakers I hear sticks but more rare), nor need to go to a particular place, nor to pay a subscription (except for coachings maybe) for practice. A good alternative ?

Basketball
And There you go sport band co. If I personally am not a big fan of the bouncing ball, basketball represented two advantages of practice. The collective that always does a lot of good. And the possibility of working alone between workouts or just for fun. Two in one for this sport cardio, strategic and beautiful to look at. It goes quickly and the immense satisfaction of putting a basket is nonetheless not insignificant. What’s more, no need to be 4 meters high. You are not aiming for the NBA right away but first to get in motion, to have fun, It’s all that matters.

The aquabike
Direction the water with this timeless. I no longer present the concept ofaquabike which at first glance seems absurd: cycling in water. Wait a minute ! I’ve never had so much hot thighs than during an aquabike session. As much to say to you thaton sweating – even if you don’t necessarily realize it – and the feeling is completely different from a RPM “basic”. Put on your swimsuits and your beanie, it’s going to pedal dry er, wet!
