The collection of discarded pines started in Debrecen
Debrecen – The Debrecen Waste Public Service Provider asks the people of Debrecen to put the trees on the street, free from ornaments.
According to tradition, the Christmas tree was to be demolished on January 6, at the water cross, and the Debrecen Waste Public Service Provider also adjusted the removal of the pines. They started collecting the trees on Thursday, which will be composted later. In single-family zones, pines are collected by a municipal waste collection flight, so they must be placed next to the trash on the days they are emptied.
A separate collection route will be launched in the housing estate areas. The service provider asks that residents put the pines on the route of the garbage trucks, in an easily accessible place, preferably in one place.
DHK staff is asking everyone to
rid the Christmas trees of decorations and Christmas candy papers.
In Debrecen, almost 28 tons of pine were collected last year.
