Niko Kovac is replaced by Philippe Clément.
Surprised by these Christmas holidays, Niko Kovac was dismissed from his post by the management of AS Monaco.
Indeed, despite a sixth place in Ligue 1 and a qualification in the Europa League, the Croatian was dismissed because of his management.
His replacement was quick to be found since it is the coach of Club Brugge, Philippe Clément, who has just been appointed to the Rock.
“With three Belgian championship titles some acquired with a conquering game, experience in European competitions (40 matches) and a career driven by constant progress, Philippe Clement is committed to AS Monaco until June 30, 2024. ”
The Belgian club will for its part quickly formalize the arrival of Alfred Schreuder, to replace him after From Telegraaf.
The latter was notably the assistant of Julian Nagelsmann, Erik ten Hag or Ronald Koeman.
