they celebrate 2022 with alcohol and stolen cash, all in a stolen car
New Years Eve brings its share of joys but also its share of worries … Around 4 a.m., in the Matabiau sector in Toulouse, the manager of a hotel, in his thirties, is quietly upstairs preparing his orders when he hears noise below.
Quickly, he notices with dismay that the hotel has just been “visited” and that the door has been broken. The cash drawer is also open and bottles have been stolen. The night watchman realizes that his jacket has also vanished, specifies a police source contacted by The Independent Opinion.
The manager notes the license plate
The manager then decides to go take a look outside to see if the criminals are still around. He falls on a vehicle with two people on board who tries good year, bad year to clear customs. “Two guys ran away,” they say.
The manager, who was not born last rain, notes the license plate as a precaution and decides to go and see what CCTV cameras have been recorded …
The vehicle has been declared stolen
No doubt, two men are broken into his establishment. It makes the link with the two individuals crossed outside but these have obviously vanished into the wild. The police are quickly notified and eventually find one of the two suspects of the theft in possession of one of the five bottles stolen from the establishment as well as cash. In police custody, he recognizes the theft by breaking and entering.
Police searches are then directed towards the owner of the vehicle. Officials find that the car was declared stolen and belongs to a 30-year-old woman who will file a complaint. Just like the manager of the hotel for the damage of the theft.
The 23-year-old suspect was therefore referred on January 1 and will have to explain these facts to the court, as part of the immediate comparison, Monday January 3.
