The Romanian People’s Movement Party is expanding in the Republic of Moldova
The People’s Movement Party is expanding in the Republic of Moldova. The President of the Popular Movement Party, Cristian Diaconescu, had a working meeting on Monday, January 3, 2022, with Mr. Anatol Salaru, President of the Party of National Unity of the Republic of Moldova.
During the talks, the two leaders addressed a number of issues regarding the domestic political and economic situation, developments in the judiciary, as well as the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on its own European Union.
Also, another important point of the discussion was the prospect of re-establishing the People’s Movement Party in the Republic of Moldova. In this sense, Mr. Cristian Diaconescu assured him of his full support, so that the two unionist formations represent the only Christian-Democratic alternative for the conservative electorate in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Reaffirming his commitment to resume regular activities and meetings, the PMP President is due to pay a visit to Chisinau in the next period.
During the planned visit to the PMP president, Mr. Cristian Diaconescu, he will have meetings with members and supporters of the party in the Republic of Moldova as well as with academia.
