The Ministry of Labor told about compensation for Russians working on holidays: Society: Russia: Lenta.ru
In the section of labor and social protection of the Russian Federation, the conditions of remuneration for labor on holidays have been clarified. About it informs agency “Sever-Press”.
According to the department, if the employee’s work shift falls on a holiday, then it will be paid in double amount. However, instead of double wages, the employee may choose to take time off.
If a Russian works on a five-day basis, then his work on holidays also provides for double wages. He also has the right to choose a day off. It is clarified that on holidays employees can be involved in work only with their consent in writing and by order of the employer.
Non-working holidays are not grounds for lowering salaries, the ministry recalled. Additional remuneration for work on holidays is given additional remuneration.
Earlier it became that in Russia from January 1, 2022, the government decree “On the size of the minimum and maximum amount of unemployment benefits for 2022” came into force. The minimum amount of unemployment benefits remained at the level of 1.5 thousand rubles, as in the previous year. The maximum amount in the first three months of payment was 12,792 rubles (against 12,130 rubles in 2021).
