New Year’s Eve: all the variations to the common collection services by municipality

Tomorrow, Saturday 1 January 2022, on the occasion of New Year’s Eve, Sei Toscana has foreseen changes to the home collection services in some municipalities of the area served. All the changes have been agreed by the manager with the individual municipal administrations with the aim of offering, even during holidays, services that meet the needs of citizens.

Below are all the variations foreseen, divided by province (by clicking on the name of the municipality it is possible to view all the relative information directly on the portal www.seitoscana.it).

PROVINCE OF AREZZO

In the municipalities of the province of Arezzo where door to door is active (Arezzo, Castelfranco Pian di Sco ‘, Castiglion Fibocchi, Castiglion Fiorentino, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Cortona, Foiano della Chiana, Laterina Pergine Valdarno, Loro Ciuffenna, Lucignano, Marciano della Chiana, Monte San Savino, Sansepolcro and Terranuova Bracciolini) Saturday 1 January all home collection services will be carried out regularly.

Sei Toscana reminds that on Saturday 1 January all the collection centers and ecological stations in the province of Arezzo will be closed to the public and also the toll-free number will not be active. On Sunday 2 January, the collection centers of Arezzo (Mulinaccio and Tramarino), Loro Ciuffenna, Montevarchi and Terranuova Bracciolini will be open.

PROVINCE OF GROSSETO

In Follonica, the home collection of paper and cardboard for non-domestic users (shops and businesses) in the center (excluding via Roma) and in the industrial area, scheduled for Saturday 1 January, will not be carried out.

In Montieri, door-to-door collection scheduled for Saturday 1 January will not be carried out.

In the other municipalities of the province of Grosseto where the door to door is active (Castell’Azzara, Civitella Paganico, Gavorrano, Grosseto, Magliano in Toscana, Massa Marittima, Monte Argentario, Monterotondo Marittimo, Roccastrada and Scarlino) Saturday 1 January all services home collection will be carried out regularly.

Sei Toscana reminds that on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd January all the collection centers and ecological stations in the province of Grosseto will be closed to the public and also the toll-free number will not be active.

PROVINCE OF SIENA

In Siena, historic center, door-to-door collection for domestic users (private citizens) and door-to-door collection of staff in the Terzo di Camollia, scheduled for January 1st, will not be obtained and will be postponed to Sunday 2nd January. On Saturday 1 January, however, the home collection for non-domestic users (activities) in the historic center will be regular. In the commercial area of ​​Strada Massetana Romana, the door-to-door collection of paper and cardboard for non-domestic users, scheduled for Saturday 1st January will be brought forward to Friday 31st December. The Renaccio collection center will be open on 31 December only in the morning, while it will be closed on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 January.

All door-to-door collections (scheduled for January 1) in the municipalities of: Abbadia San Salvatore, Asciano, Casole d’Elsa, Chianciano Terme, Chiusi, Colle Val d’Elsa, Montalcino, Monticiano, will be postponed to Sunday 2 January. Pienza, Poggibonsi, Rapolano Terme, San Gimignano Badia a Elmi and collection of non-domestic users in the historic center, Sinalunga, Sovicille, Torrita di Siena and Trequanda. In Montepulciano, the door to door in the historic center on January 1st will be carried out regularly, while the door to door outside the historic center will be postponed to Sunday January 2nd.

Sei Toscana reminds you that on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd January all collection centers and ecological stations in the province of Siena will be closed and the toll-free number will not be active either.

VAL DI CORNIA (PROVINCE OF LIVORNO)

In Piombino, the door-to-door collection of undifferentiated products in the historic center, scheduled for Saturday 1 January, will not take place in the afternoon rather in the morning. The beginning of the withdrawals will take place approximately at 6 am and the residues will be found before this time. Furthermore, on Saturday 1 January, the home collection of paper and cardboard for non-domestic users in Piombino will not be conducted.

In all the other municipalities of the Val di Cornia where home collection is active (Campiglia Marittima, Castagneto Carducci, San Vincenzo and Suvereto) the door-to-door services on Saturday 1st January will be regularly carried out.

Sei Toscana reminds that on Saturday 1 January all the collection centers and ecological stations in the Val di Cornia area will be closed to the public and also the toll-free number will not be active. On Sunday 2 January the Campiglia Marittima collection center, in Venturina, will be open.
