Prague rescuers intervened on Wednesday morning in a tragic accident in Prague. The car knocked down pedestrians there, he died on the spot. Tuesday also had a car clash with a man in the Zlín region. Even in this case, paramedics are in danger of helping the person concerned.
The accident happened on Wednesday shortly before six o’clock in the morning on Wenceslas Square in Prague. “The event took place at the level of the National Museum, where a car and a pedestrian collided,” police spokesman Richard Hrdina told TN.cz. The pedestrian did not survive the collision. Police are now investigating the causes and circumstances of the whole incident.
Tuesday’s accident near Slušovice in the Zlín region also ended tragically. According to the police, the young driver was to drive towards Lípa. “At the moment when the 37-year-old pedestrian, who was in dark clothes, unlit and without relevant reflective elements, was moving along this road. The drivers got right in front of the vehicle, so there was a collision,” police spokeswoman Milena Sabatova said.
Pedestrians can no longer help rescuers. All components of the Integrated Rescue System intervened on the spot. Police conducted a breath test on the driver’s car. That was negative.
“The exact circumstances of this tragic event are being investigated by Zlín criminal investigators together with transport colleagues,” Šabatová concluded. The road at the scene of the accident was closed during the investigation.
The pedestrian deliberately jumped off the sidewalk under the car. Take a look at the footage:
