The West is not ready to accept Moscow’s proposals on security in full. This opinion with Izvestia shared the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Novikov.
At the same time, the deputy of the State Duma believes that dialogue is possible, and NATO is not going to reject everything “out of the box”. According to him, the West will try to assess Moscow’s proposals.
The deputy also added that today the idea of ”strangling” Russia dominates in NATO, the actions of the US President Joe Biden’s administration show that Washington shows risks that could carry a serious aggravation of the situation.
