Prague Zoo is happy with Christmas presents. Visitors brought food to the animals
The animals from the Prague Zoo received a rich gift on Christmas Day. Visitors brought them hundreds of pounds of apples, carrots, pastries, tens of pounds of nuts and other delicacies. Prague Zoo informed about it on Facebook.
Prague Zoo was also open on Christmas Day, people could buy a ticket from 9:00 to 14:00 before the box office closed. During that time, more than five thousand visitors came, who could listen to the annotated feeding of kangaroos or penguins. The program also included a performance of sea lions.
People did not come to the zoo empty-handed, they brought the animals full of food. “Thank you very much for the beautiful Christmas cards, and especially for the edible gifts for the animals! “The Prague Zoo wrote on Facebook on Thursday afternoon.
For example, visitors brought 680 kilos of apples, 560 kilos of carrots and 530 kilos of pastries. There were also nuts in the gift, they brought almost 70 kilos of those people. Animals will also be able to enjoy bananas, oranges, biscuits and other delicacies.
Throughout the opening hours, visitors under the age of 15 had an entrance fee of only one crown. On other days, the zoo will be open at standard times, from 9:00 to 16:00. In the following days, visitors can also bring unused Christmas trees, which will also serve as animal feed.
