Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok held an annual press conference on Slovak-Hungarian relations and the V4. The Parameter he asked on the rulings of the Polish and Hungarian Constitutional Courts, which call into question whether the country should implement the rulings of the European Court of Justice.

Ivan Korčok said these decisions are usually not about the place of individual law in national law, but only in cases where they have been agreed. According to him, the problem of Hungary and Poland can be addressed, as these are not the only debates on the regulation of the EU and national legal system. National nations in other countries, such as the German Constitutional Court, have also commented on European law on a regular basis, he said.

The problem, however, is that these legal problems are becoming political problems in these two countries, unfortunately the EU is presented through them as the source of all the problems that attack the sovereignty of these countries, the basis of their existence. He said:

“It bothers me, it’s the wording that bothers at the expense of the union. And I don’t want to be identified with that wording. This is a disturbance in V4s, not the very existence of V4. The problem is that I do not share the verbal attacks that come from these countries to the European Union. “
