Including a photo of the facade of the house known as Lesdiguières, in Serres, chosen by the organizers for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region as “small towns of character”.
In total, seven committed networks of towns and protected rural and urban heritage areas will be represented: the “most beautiful villages in France”, the “most beautiful detours in France”, the “major sites in France”, the “sites and cities remarkable in France ”,“ towns and crafts ”and therefore“ small towns of character ”.
Photographs as “invitations to travel” and which also express, underlines the Hautes-Alpes economic and tourist development agency (Addet 05), the wish of the elected officials concerned to “contribute to the development of cities, villages, sites and know-how in order to promote a different type of tourism, more sustainable, based on heritages and landscapes of great diversity ”.

Signed Patrick Domeyne, the photo chosen was taken as part of the process initiated since 2019 by Addet, the council of architecture, town planning and the environment (CAUE 05) and the territory of Sisteronais-Buëch which has allowed Serres and Garde-Colombe to obtain the national label “small towns of character”. The two municipalities are today the only ones to be held in the Paca region (Rosans preparing his candidacy for 2022).
